Why VERA TOTE® Is Unlike Any Bag I've Carried in 15 Years of Teaching
"I used to think being a 'bag lady' was just part of being a teacher. Three bags, a tumbler in one hand, and a lunch I wasn't sure would survive till my break. I was wrong — it was just the wrong bag."
What changed for me — in my words
- ✅ I walk in with one bag now, not four — laptop, lunch, Stanley, grading.
- ✅ I stopped feeling like I was "moving in" in front of my students — I look put-together.
- ✅ I actually eat the lunch I pack — leakproof insulated + the included ice pack keeps it cool through my break, no fridge needed.
- ✅ I find my badge and grading pen in seconds — 17 pockets, even on a 20-min break.
- ✅ My 40oz rides in the SideFit™ holder — hands free.
What customers are saying
"25 years teaching and this is the best bag I've owned. My laptop, a frozen meal, a Coke Zero, and my teacher manuals all fit." — Kendra, Verified Buyer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Papers, lunch, purse — now it's all-in-one and I look more together walking in." — terri, Verified Buyer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- 🛑 The walk — 3-4 mismatched bags from the lot to your room, students watching.
- 🛑 The lunch gamble — a 6:30AM meal sitting warm with no fridge until your break.
🎖 One designer-looking bag replaces the pile → walk in looking like you run the room. 🎖 Insulated + leakproof + included ice pack → the lunch you packed is still cool when the bell rings.
01 · The laptop + lesson-plan command center
Padded 15.6"–17.3" sleeve holds the device your day runs on — attendance, IEP docs, slides. No separate laptop bag.
02 · The no-fridge lunch system
Leakproof insulated compartment + included reusable ice pack keeps a sealed meal cool through your break. "I put a small ice pack in and it lasted 8 hours."
03 · SideFit™ — your Stanley's home, both sides
Two holders sized for a 40oz Stanley (also Owala 40oz, Hydro Flask 32oz). Water one side, coffee the other. Hands free.
04 · 17 pockets + FlexShelf™ for a 20-minute break
Every item has a home. FlexShelf™ (soft fold-down insulated layer) keeps the lunch flat under your laptop; fold it up after lunch for full grading room.
